CHASE WALKER

Chase is a partner at Walker Law Group. He has a passion for litigation and helping solve people's problems. He practices in the family law, business litigation, and general litigation areas at Walker Law Group. He focuses on ensuring that his clients are successful both in court and outside it. Chase was named among Utah's Legal Elite 2021 Rising Star by Utah Business Magazine for family law. Chase was instrumental in helping write and pass SB 122 which led to the creation of Utah Code Ann. § 30-3-35.2, the first equal parent-time statute in the state of Utah. 

 

He graduated from the S.J. Quinney College of Law in 2014 with honors. He was a member of the Utah Law Review. Chase founded and was the president of the Family Law Society working with the Executive Committee of the Family Law Section of the Utah State bar to plan events and host panel discussions at the law school. Chase received the Oustanding Academic Achievement award in Legislation and was also a member of the school’s four-person Trial Advocacy team.

 

While in law school, Chase interned for Judge Sheri Stevens in the Maricopa County Superior Court in Phoenix, Arizona.  He also worked in the civil litigation division of the Utah Attorney General’s Office, as well as at a Salt Lake commercial litigation firm downtown.  Finally, Chase volunteered at the Family Law Clinic and the Street Law Clinic, in addition to being a student director for the law school’s ProBono Initative. Chase is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Children's Service Society and has appeared on local news programs to discuss parenting issues. He is excited to bring these experiences to his practice at Walker Law Group.

 

Chase received his Bachelors of Science from Brigham Young University where he was the head delegate for BYU’s prestigious Model United Nation’s program, winning highest honors both years at the National Model United Nation’s competition held in New York City. He was also the recipient of the Sloan Speech Showcase Award for public speaking.
